Case Study - Glass Room for a Patio

The Glass veranda to Glass room transformation

Mrs H moved to this Hampshire property in 2017, as soon as she moved in she realised that there was great potential for a patio covering. Mrs H purchased our Veranda system shortly after receiving the brochure. Our consultant advised that as her garden was south facing it would be advantageous to include a remote controlled Undershade to protect against Solar glare. The original Veranda was installed in September 2017.

The wonderful aspect of our roof system is that it’s an engineered roof, this allows the product to be modular in design and able to add additional elements later down the line should you desire to do so.

Mrs H decided in early 2021 to complete the additions and turn the Veranda into a full Glass Room with static glazing to the LH elevation and Sliding doors to the front elevation. You can see the complete transformation in the accompanying photographs.

The original brief from the client was a simple Veranda covering for the patio, it’s now a complete Glass Room structure. The only other addition Mrs H could now have is RGB lighting or Vertical electric shades to the front elevation. The end result provides everything the client requested and compliments the magnificent views of the garden and a alfresco lifestyle to match.
